best robotic mop and vacuum (robotvacuummops.uk) Combos
Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized using an app that can save maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. You can also alter the suction power and how much water your mop uses.
A mapping function will help your robot navigate around rooms. A feature for avoiding obstacles will stop it from running into furniture, wires, or stray toys. These are must-have features in my home, which is filled with toys that are scattered about.
- Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the top-of-the-line mop and vacuum cleaner, so it's a natural choice to be packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and raise its mop pads or brushes so that soft surfaces don't get too wet. It can also stay clear of obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR Navigation, which tracks its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it goes from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding the possibility of soaking these soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be rinsed and then dried with the dock and the dust bin is automatically empty and returned to it. You can set it up and forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for around 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to run low on power and return to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.
This is a very well-rounded and capable product, with its only downsides being that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features make it a great choice for anyone who is looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the price we strongly recommend checking this one out.
- Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its high-end price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It comes with an app-enabled smart controller and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably across the entire home. It removed 98.4 percent of debris from all types of floors and managed to lift long hair without tangling. The mops also performed admirably and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as an effective dose of cleaning solution.
The L10S Ultra's most significant selling point is its innovative multifunctional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into a dirt bag, refills its water tank to enable the mopping function and even dries its mop pads for you. It also has a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.
Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tested The L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced debris removal on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective at removing stubborn staining as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water and tanks must be cleaned and emptied regularly. They also need to be dried. The mop pads sold separately also require changing regularly.
With the L10S Ultra's pricey cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone with the funds for it. If you're on a tighter budget, I would suggest a more rudimentary model that will allow you to save money while enjoying clean hands at home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robot vacuum and mop you can buy, its high purchase cost and constant maintenance will eventually make it more of a desire rather than a requirement.
- Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This high-powered mop and robovac combo packs an impressive suction force of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power both mowing and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle-avoiding. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that require users to return to their base station mid-clean to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot, and it gets a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. When it turns, the roller scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and dumped into a larger storage bin. The tank that is onboard can hold a substantial amount of water, and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before being emptied out.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package, just like most other robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro will need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands that allow you to use your choice of cleaning solutions.
As with most robots, the S1 Pro did well in the area of coverage and navigation efficiency. It was quick to map out a area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on carpets with longer piles and rugs during my testing however this could be fixed as the software is updated. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that offers lots of features at a reasonable cost.
- Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has some outstanding features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's extreme suction is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets.
The software that runs this appliance is fairly dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean every area that is that this device maps or select specific rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area.
The Qrevo performed well during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system works well, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too although it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to detect smaller objects such as rug tassels and electrical wires.
The machine has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a good alternative: the app has the option to "clean up" at the end of each vacuuming session. This lets you use the vacuum's mopping capability to eliminate the last traces of debris and dust that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a great feature that helps this robot clean a little better than its less expensive competitors.
